1.4.1 Support from WIDP 

This guidance sets out WIDP's view on best practice in relation to contract management. In addition to this guidance, WIDP has developed a number of channels though which it is able to disseminate best practice, i.e.: 

• direct support from WIDP's Transactors and/or Commercial Team; 

• training courses for Local Authorities;

•   Network Group meetings;

•   the Defra website;

•   conferences; and 

• Contract Management Reviews.
