WIDP has developed a Contract Management Review service that is available for Authorities to use free of charge. These reviews are delivered though an experienced reviewer drawn from Local Partnerships working with a WIDP Transactor.

Authorities should ensure that their proposed governance and contract management arrangements are robust and that they are reviewed by the internal audit function. For PFI projects it is mandatory that Authorities also consider the need for an external review on a regular basis in accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding agreed with WIDP. |
Alternatively the checklist at Appendix B will assist Authorities in undertaking their own review of their contract management procedures.
