21. The Link includes some work, mainly at St. Pancras station, which ties in with the Thameslink 2000 rail project. The fact that the Link is now due to open in late 2006, rather than 2003 as planned in the original deal means that there have been delays to the benefits the Department estimates will arise from Thameslink 2000. These have been included at £100 million.
