1.6  Inclusiveness

■  The Contractor must ensure that all Service Users are provided for in the design and construction, and that specific consideration be given to the needs of the disabled.

■  Signage including the use of wall and floor covering colours should be integrated within the overall design strategy to enable ease of understanding of the buildings layout and to aid the visually disabled in accordance with current legislation3.
