1.13.1  Site Preparation Work

The Contractor should be responsible for carrying out all soil etc investigations in order to satisfy the Authority (and where appropriate the Environment Agency or other relevant public authority) that:

■  All contamination is removed or otherwise remediated;

■  Redundant Services Media are removed;

■  Live Services Media are diverted;

■  Old foundations and areas of unsuitable ground are removed; and

■  All other relevant investigations that may be pertinent to the site.
