1.13.4  Floor

All structural engineering design and function for new and / or refurbished buildings in this project must be in accordance with the relevant Codes and Industry Practices. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to ascertain:

■  any special floor loading requirements;

■  the nature of the ground for foundation design; and

■  the distribution and laying of underground services.

All floors are to be designed to carry the specified loads without distortion or damage.
