1.14.4 Circulation

Footpaths are to be finished with a suitable hard, wearing, durable; non-slip finish set flush with adjoining soft areas. There must be level access where footpaths abut roads and parking areas.

All the materials used for the construction of roads and other paved areas should be constructed in accordance with the current Department of Transport Specification for Highway Works and any local Highways Authority requirement.
