Emergency Lighting

The Contractor should provide emergency lighting test switch facility at the distribution board and ensure that the failure of either the final circuit protective device or the control circuit protective device will cause any emergency functions connected to the associated external lighting circuits to operate.

The Contractor should provide a complete emergency lighting installation. The Electrical Contractor should ensure that the design proposals for the electrical services are forwarded to Building Control/Approved Inspector at an early stage for comment/approval.
