The Contractor should install a CCTV system that should be complete with all necessary power supplies, containment systems and cabling. Illumination should be provided, as necessary, to assist the optimum operation of the CCTV systems including the erection of suitably worded signs advising that such images are being recorded.

CCTV to be provided to the following areas:

Insert full details of the areas that are to be covered and also full details of the specification required. The specification should include requirements in relation to image size, recording equipment and image retention and play back requirements.

Lifts [Where appropriate]

Lift capacity should be appropriate for the number of people occupying each building, and so that all areas of the building are accessible by those with disabilities. As part of deciding whether to incorporate lifts in buildings consideration must be given for the safe and efficient movement of goods and deliveries to areas of the Site, such as kitchens, so that they do not interfere with the operational use of the building.

Lift cars, plant, power supply, controls and equipment must be regularly maintained and routine inspections carried out to ensure efficient and safe functioning.
