3.3.4 Grounds Maintenance

The Contractor is to provide safe, secure, clean, practical and aesthetically pleasing external environments within the Site(s) for all Service Users and visitors to the Station(s).

Provision, maintenance and renewal (as necessary) of all external works, hard surfacing (including pavements, service roads, car parking/covered parking, yards and docking bays, walls, fences gates, etc, together with all soft landscaping including grassed areas, shrubs, borders, bedding areas, trees, special features, litter bins, all wildlife, environmental and natural areas (including wildlife) and water features.

All of the above areas to be maintained to a good aesthetic standard and must be safe for operational use throughout the year. The Grounds Maintenance service must fulfil all requirements of the Authority and accommodate all seasonal changes and any Variations to these requirements.
