3.3.5 CATERING (INCLUDING VENDING)

The Contractor is to provide a high quality, attractive and responsive customer focused catering service, which meets the needs of the operational staff and visitors to the site during the working day.

In addition, to provide full food vending facilities for use by staff, out of normal working hours.

The catering provision must be carried out at all times in such a way that fully meets all the requirements of current food hygiene, food safety and health and safety legislation.

All foods and beverages offered for sale, or served, whether through vending machines, cafeteria counters, or other outlets must be of a recognised form and produced using first quality ingredients.

There may be opportunities for additional types of sales; this must only be by agreement with the Authority.
