3.3.6  Window Cleaning

The Contractor is to ensure that the internal and external glazing and frames are kept clean and tidy at all times.

Cleaning of all glazing and frame surrounds to ensure that the internal areas to the building are maintained to an optimum standard. In addition, cleaning down of window frames and surrounds will ensure that the external appearance of the buildings is maintained.

The Contractor will provide a fully inclusive window cleaning service to meet the Authority's needs. The service should comprise:

■  General window cleaning that meets the required standards;

■  The provision of consumables to support services;

■  Maintenance of external appearance of the buildings; and

■  The initial installation and maintenance of 'eye' bolts to ensure that ladders/gantries can be adequately restrained for access purposes.
