1.2.10 Site Preparation Works

Site preparation will include, but not be limited to the following:

 Carrying out further soil investigations deemed necessary and removal or treatment, to the satisfaction of the Authority and the Environment Agency, of any contamination found. Recording of all information and retaining all reports, tickets, etc, within the Health and Safety File.

 Removal of any foundations or areas of unsuitable ground to ensure that no items remain which would be detrimental to the site and its proposed use as set out within the ITN Document. Backfilling in a manner appropriate to the ground conditions.

 Ensuring the design for the below ground drainage is compliant with the requirements of "Sewers for Adoption" Fourth Edition, Part H of the Building Regulations BS8301 (Code of Practice for Building Drainage)

The Contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary additional surveys and reports in order to ascertain the works required.
