1.2.13  Floor

The raised access floor system is to comprise broad based steel pedestals with fully encapsulated metal faced raised floor tiles to PSA MOB grade, minimum loading requirement of loads up to 10kN/m2 using 600 x 600mm full access floor system.

Any raised access floor is to be co-ordinated to include a narrow cut tile at external perimeters so as to allow a removable full tile to be immediately adjacent to perimeters. Traps in floor tiles are to be located in one corner and not in the middle of tiles.

Structural integrity between floors and frames shall be maintained. Plant room floors shall limit noise breakout and vibration transmission to adjacent areas.
