1.2.22  Fixtures, Fittings and Furnishings

All furniture, fittings and equipment supplied by the Contractor must be:

 in a functional condition;

 available for use;

 of reasonable appearance; and

 In accordance with relevant legislation, British Standards and best practice at time of delivery and / or replacement.

All soft furnishings shall be free from rips, tears and patches, fabrics and loose coverings.

Base units are to be provided with both drawers and cupboards, and drawers are to be provided with cutlery trays. Incorporate towel holder to internal face of 1No cupboard door within each room.

Sink units are to be constructed of stainless steel with mixer taps and are to be inset into work surfaces.24

Where required, stainless steel wash hand basins are to be provided, complete with individual taps.

A tiled splash back 4 tiles high (150 tiles?) is to be provided to the full length of the work surface, all joints grouted and the abutment of tiling and work surface filled with flexible mastic.

A refrigerator is to be provided at each drinks station.

The Contractor is required to maintain an up to date asset register containing but not limited to details and specifications of the item, location and details of training given.
