2.3.4 External Lighting

Care should be taken to position the luminaries where they won't have any adverse effect on the CCTV operation or cause any discomfort glare to anybody looking out from the building.

Provide lighting to the car park using low pressure discharge. The luminaries should be selected to provide good optical performance and to minimise unwanted upward light. Columns should not exceed 6m in height.

PIR lighting to pedestrian routes and entrances etc. should be considered.
