2.3.6 Small Power Installation

All socket outlets, unless identified as cleaner/general use, shall be wired and connected to the distribution system to comply with section 607 of BS 7671. This requirement also extends to the under floor power distribution system. All final circuits complying with section 607 of BS 7671 shall utilise socket outlets that have a high integrity earthing facility (such as dual earthing terminals connected via a solid metallic link).
