2.3.8  Intruder Detection and Alarm System:

Ensure all equipment and systems are designed and installed to provide electromagnetic compatibility within the system and with any other system in the same locations, in accordance with BS EN 50130-4.

Provide detectors to comply with BS 4737 so as to provide optimal coverage of all specified areas. Detectors shall be mounted at a nominal height, in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations.

Protect all cabling from mechanical damage. No joints shall be permitted. Ensure that the circuits are segregated as required by BS 7671.
