8  Exceptions to Deductions

This section lists the circumstances or events that excuse the Contractor from being subjected to Service Performance Deductions or Unavailability Deductions. These are agreed factors within the mechanism rather than more general provisions in the Project Agreement such as Force Majeure which may also remove the obligation in terms of maintaining the performance and availability regime.
