Energy Strategy

Bidders should provide their detailed approach and proposals with regards to the design of energy efficient facilities. The response should fully clarify their proposals with respect to the following topics as a minimum:

•  Part L (2006) compliance;

•  Local Authority's Agenda 21 commitments;

•  BREEAM assessment (for operational phase)

•  target energy consumption for fuel and electricity;

•  details of proposed sources of energy and pollution;

•  how energy usage can be reduced

•  energy targets including meeting the local and regional plan targets for renewable energy; and

•  energy management systems features.
