Health, Safety & Environmental Management
Bidders are required to provide evidence of an accredited health and safety policy that would be applicable to all aspects of the Initial Project and to produce an example project-specific health and safety plan. This should set out example details, including, as a minimum, safe working practices, site rules and regulations, site procedures, method statements, COSHH information and reporting procedure, etc.
The Bidder should also provide details of the measures proposed (where appropriate) to protect pupils, staff and the public against harm due to the construction and demolition works and to prevent dust, smoke, debris, artificial lighting, stock piles, temporary works, noise and the like from causing unnecessary inconveniences or becoming a nuisance.
Bidders should provide details of their Environmental Policy and copies of any supporting Accreditation certificates
