Method Statement 2 - Apparatus (Contractual)

The Bidder should submit a Method Statement of the lighting equipment (column, luminaire, lamp and control gear) for each lighting category covered by the Output Specification. The Method Statement must address all of the requirements included in the relevant Equipment and Installation Service Delivery Outputs set out in the Output Specification as well as the following matters:

 The name of any firm or organisation who will be supplying equipment or materials for at least the first six years of the Contract

 A list of all of the equipment in detail, by quantity, and type, that the Bidder is expected to use

 Confirmation that all luminaires will comply with the [5% ULR recommendation in category E3 stated in a report titled Guidance notes for the reduction of light pollution published by the ILE in 2000]

 Confirmation of the calibration of the photocells

 Confirmation of what columns they will use for each [EN13201] category

 Confirmation of whether brackets will be used

 Confirmation of the final finish of the columns and/or brackets

 Statement of what light sources will be used for each [EN13201] category

 Confirmation of what warranties will be obtained on all new installed equipment and how, if at all, the warranties will be backed

 Confirmation of whether any warranty of residual life can be given on any item other than columns, at hand-over on expiry of the Contract Period.
