Method Statement 20 - Mobilisation Plan (Contractual)

The Service Provider is to ensure the efficient and effective takeover of the street lighting service on the commencement date, and the transfer of records and documents associated with the street lighting service.  The Model Contract includes provision for a mobilisation period of [insert details] and during this period the Service Provider shall undertake as far as shall be reasonably practicable everything necessary to institute and complete a hand-over between itself and the Local Authority and any previous contractors.  As part of the Bid, the Bidder is required to submit a draft mobilisation plan to demonstrate how such hand-over will be affected, and the key tasks to be undertaken during the mobilisation period.
