66.4 Authority Variation
66.4.1 The Authority may during the period of this Agreement determine that the Required Insurances are no longer sufficient to protect the Authority's interest. In these circumstances the Authority will be entitled to require of the Contractor that it purchases additional insurance cover to give the Authority the protection it has determined is needed. This will be deemed to be an Authority Change Notice pursuant to the provisions of the Change Protocol. For the avoidance of doubt, the requirement to increase the insured amount as detailed in clause 66.5 (Increase in Insured Amounts) is not subject to the provisions of this clause 66.4.1 (Authority Variation).
66.4.2 In the event of additional insurance covers being purchased by the Contractor in accordance with clause 66.4.1 (Authority Variation), the provisions of this clause 66 (Risks that Become Uninsurable) shall apply to such insurances.
