9.7  Emergency Road Section Closures

If as a result of an emergency the need arises for unprogrammed maintenance or repair works requiring Road Section Closures otherwise than in accordance with a Road Closure Schedule or as permitted under clause 9.6, the Service Provider may effect such Road Section Closure, provided that the Service Provider shall,  as soon as reasonably practicable, advise the Authority Representative of and the reasons for such closure and shall take all reasonable steps to minimise the duration of such Road Section Closure.
