54.5 Emoluments and Outgoings - Authorities Responsibilities
The Authority shall be responsible for [or shall procure that any other employer of a Relevant Employee is responsible for45] all remuneration, benefits, entitlements and outgoings in respect of the [Relevant Employees/Transferring Employees46], including without limitation all wages, holiday pay, bonuses, commissions, payments of PAYE, national insurance contributions, pension contributions and otherwise, up to the Relevant Transfer Date.

45 The words in square brackets must only be included where the Authority has power to compel its existing Sub-Contractors to make these payments under any provision/indemnity or other legal entitlement it has against such Sub-Contractors.
46 As above, "Relevant Employees" should only be used where the Authority is able to recover such sums in respect of non Transferring Employees from any sub-contractor of the Authority under any indemnity or other legal entitlement it has against such Sub-Contractor.
