83.1  Notices

Any notice to be given or served by one party to the other party under this Contract shall be served as follows:

(a)  Such notice shall either be delivered personally or by first class pre-paid post or by facsimile transmission to the relevant address or facsimile number as set out in clauses 83.1(b) or 83.1(c) (as the case may be) or to such other address or facsimile number as a party may have notified to the other party by not less than five (5) Business Days prior written notice.  Service shall deemed to have been effected as follows:

(i)  if personally delivered, at the time of delivery to the addressee;

(ii)  if sent by first class pre-paid post on the second (2nd) Business Day after it is put in the post; and

(iii)  if sent by facsimile transmission, at the time of transmission or, if the time of transmission is outside normal working hours (which shall be deemed to be 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday excluding public holidays), at 9 am upon the next Business Day.
