84.1  Definitions

In this clause 84:

(a)  1974 Act means the Local Government Act 1974;

(b)  1989 Act means that Local Government and Housing Act 1989;

(c)  Ombudsman means a Local Commissioner of the Commission for Local Administration in England; and

(d)  Monitoring Officer means the officer designated by the Authority in accordance with Section 5 of the 1989 Act.
