84.2 Complaints
The Authority and the Service Provider acknowledge that:
(a) under the 1974 Act the Ombudsman may investigate a complaint made by or on behalf of a member of the public who claims to have sustained injustice in consequence of maladministration in connection with action taken by or on behalf of the Authority; and
(b) the Monitoring Officer is under a duty to report to the Authority on matters of illegality, maladministration and injustice
and the Service Provider shall cooperate fully with both the Ombudsman and the Monitoring Officer in the investigation of any complaint concerning any act or omission made by the Service Provider in carrying out the Service.
