1.  REQUIRED OUTCOMES

1.1  The Service Provider shall comply with the provisions of this Performance Standard 2 and ensure that:

1.1.1  the Project Network is not Unavailable;

1.1.2  Programmed Maintenance, Routine Maintenance and Reactive Maintenance on the Project Network are carried out to ensure that the Project Network is safe and convenient for users;

1.1.3  the drainage system on the Project Network allows for the quick and efficient removal of surface water to ensure the structural integrity of each [RSL] and the safety of users of the Project Network;

1.1.4  all Road Markings are complete; and

1.1.5  no Road Section Lengths or any part thereof (unless otherwise set out in this Contract) shall be subject to Weight Restrictions, Width Restrictions or Height Restrictions as a result of either the provision or non-provision of the services by the Service Provider in accordance with this Contract.

1.2  The Service Provider shall ensure that all Structures and bridges are maintained so that they comply with the inspection, maintenance, repair and assessment standards specified in Volume 3 of the DMRB.

1.3  The Service Provider shall repair all damage to the Project Network (howsoever caused).

1.4  The Service Provider shall ensure that

1.4.1  tunnels are maintained in accordance with BA 72 of the DMRB

1.4.2  tunnels are not Unavailable; and

1.4.3  Programmed Maintenance and Routine Maintenance is carried out to ensure that the tunnels are safe are convenient for Project users and at such times as to minimise disruption on the Project Roads.
