5  Other Attachments and Advertising

5.1  The Service Provider and any Service Provider Party shall not be entitled to attach, fix or place any item or thing on any Project Network Parts other than in accordance with an express provision of this Contract. The Service Provider and any Service Provider Party shall not be entitled to attach, fix or place any telecommunications equipment to any Project Network Part.

5.2  Throughout the Contract Period, the Service Provider (or any contractor of the Service Provider or any person on the Service Provider's behalf) shall not attach Advertising to any Project Network Part unless agreed by the Authority pursuant clause 49.4 (Additional Income).

5.3  Notwithstanding any other provision of this Contract, the Authority or an Authority Party may attach Advertising or telecommunications equipment to any Project Network Parts without the requirement to obtain the consent of the Service Provider.

5.4  The Service Provider shall not be responsible for the repair, or maintenance or any associated energy costs of any Advertising or telecommunications equipment attached by the Authority or any Authority Party to any Project Network Part. In the event of any damage being caused to the Project Network Parts by the fixing, removal or maintenance of any Advertising or telecommunications equipment paragraphs 3.10 to 3.12 (Authority Attachments) (inclusive) shall apply.
