The Monthly Usage Payment

2.12.  During the first Payment Year, the Monthly Usage Payment, MUP, shall be £[  ], which equals the amount referred to as such in cell [insert reference] of worksheet [insert reference] of the Base Case.

2.13.  At the end of the first Payment Year, the Usage Payment due in relation to the first Payment Year will be used to calculate the Monthly Usage Payments for the second Payment Year based on the following formula:

the Monthly Usage Payment in the second Payment Year

UPFCY =

the sum of the Monthly Usage Payments in the first Payment Year as stated in the [Annual Reconciliation Notice] for the first Payment Year

number of months in the first Payment Year

2.14.  At the end of the second and in each subsequent Payment Year the Usage Payment due in relation to the preceding Payment Year will be used to calculate the Monthly Usage Payments for the Payment Year based on the following formula:

MUPCY = UPPCY/12

UPPCY = the sum of Monthly Usage Payments in the preceding Payment Year as stated in the [Annual Reconciliation Notice] for the preceding Payment Year
