Accruals and De-Accruals
2.16. Subject to Schedule 14 (Accrual and De-Accrual Process), where during the Contract Period, the Authority requires the Service Provider to provide the Service to an increased or reduced level of Service, the Monthly Service Payment shall be adjusted until the next Indexation Review Date by the sum calculated in accordance with the following formula:

2.17. Where an Accrual or De-Accrual pursuant to Schedule 14 (Accrual and De-Accrual Process) is expected to cause an increase or decrease in aggregate electricity consumption, the "afc", as defined in paragraph 4.3 of Part IV of this Schedule 21 (Payment Mechanism), shall be varied by the addition or reduction of the forecast electricity consumption of each Accrued or De-Accrued metre of [Road Section Length] (in kilowatt hours).
2.18. The adjustment to the Monthly Service Payment shall take effect from the first day of the Month following the date on which the relevant Accrual and/or De‑Accrual occurred.
