General Requirements

Lighting of subsidiary roads and associated areas, footpaths and cycle-tracks and traffic Routes in town centre areas shall comply fully with the requirements of BS5489-1, annex 1, clause 7 (Lighting of traffic routes) and clause 9 (Lighting of subsidiary roads and associated areas, footpaths and cycle tracks). All other lighting areas in the town centre areas shall comply fully with the requirements of this Appendix.
