5.1.3  Private sector interface

As discussed earlier in the document, continued interface with the private sector throughout the project can be beneficial to both government and the private sector.  During the RFP development phase this interaction can assist government in discussing project scope and other issues with the shortlisted bidders to obtain their input prior to issuing the RFP.
