Social Care - sector issues

The delivery of this Social Care project plays a significant role in the Authority's strategy for delivering social services to [vulnerable] older people [people with learning disabilities].  Your response should indicate your approach to the following:

•  Promoting the dignity of Residents in the facilities

•  Enabling Residents to live as independently as possible

•  Interface between the design of the facilities and the goals above

•  Ensuring the safety of Residents and visitors

•  Promoting healthy living and recreation for Residents

•  Integrating the delivery of the Social Care project with the Authority's wider aspirations for delivering care
