Method Statement • - Transfer of Staff

As part of their proposals, Bidders will be required to set out:

•  The assumptions that they have made in relation to TUPE transfers in calculating the Unitary Charge.

•  The assumptions that have been made in relation to pension provision and admitted body status.

Bidders are requested to confirm as part of their Solution that they are willing to comply with the Pension requirements outlined in Part 2 of these Instructions.  If a Bidder already operates a scheme that has been certified by the GAD as providing broadly comparable benefits to the Schemes, then they should provide details of that scheme, together with a copy of the current GAD certificate.

[Bidders should note that the Local Authority will give weight to Bidders' proposals that allow the transfer of the Local Authority's employees to remain in the Local Government Pension Scheme through the attainment of admitted body status].
