26.14  Payment for the first Month of the Service Period

Notwithstanding clauses 26.5 to 26.7 (inclusive) the Service Provider shall be entitled to submit an invoice to the Authority on the last Business Day of the Month in which the Service Commencement Date occurs for an amount equal to the Monthly Payment for that Month calculated in accordance with paragraphs 2.3 and 2.4 of Part 1 of the Payment Mechanism save that the definition of A1(a) shall relate to any Adjustments due under Performance Standard 1 in Part 2 of the Payment Mechanism as at the Service Commencement Date.
