55.1  Co-Operation

Each party undertakes to co-operate in good faith with the other to facilitate the proper performance of this Contract and the Project Documents and in particular shall:

(a)  use all reasonable endeavours to avoid unnecessary disputes and claims against the other party;

(b)  not interfere with the rights of the other party (nor its servants, agents, representatives, contractors or sub-contractors (of any tier)) in performing its obligations under this Contract and the Project Documents nor in any other way hinder or prevent the other party (nor its servants, agents, representatives, contractors or sub-contractors (of any tier)) from performing those obligations; and

(c)  (subject to clause 55.2) assist the other party (and its servants, agents, representatives, contractors or sub-contractors (of any tier)) in performing its obligations under this Contract and the Project Documents so far as is reasonably practicable.
