Indemnity for a Breach of the Contractor Admission Agreement (Clause 2.3)
3.15 An indemnity is sought from the Contractor or relevant Sub-Contractor to the Authority and any future contractor or service provider in the event the Contractor or relevant Sub-Contractor is in breach of the Admission Agreement. For example, it may not pay due employer's contributions and it would be unfair if the Authority or a new contractor had to meet such costs if there was no indemnity. Where contributions remain unpaid, the Administering Authority will seek payment from the Authority who can retain them from any payments it owes to the Contractor (see 3.17 below).
