1  Introduction

This section of the Facilities Requirements identifies the requirements for the design, architecture and the building services installations of the [insert name]. This section should be read in conjunction with the Zone Data Sheets in Appendix x to this Schedule 1.

The descriptions of facilities and outputs set out in Section 1 of those Facilities Requirements provide an overview of the Authority's aspirations and needs with regard to the Facility and are intended to assist enabling the Contractor in designing a facility which responds to local requirements and fulfils local need.

Nothing in these Facilities Requirements shall remove the obligation of the Contractor to meet the requirements of all relevant Guidance and Legislation.  

The Contractor shall comply with any methodologies identified in the Facilities Requirements, and with all relevant professional and trade guidance.
