14.1  General Requirements

•  The entrance foyer shall be easily identified and have a prominent position in the general arrangements of the building. An entrance lobby shall be provided to reduce draughts and the ingress of rainwater into the main foyer. The lobby shall be provided with a full width mat well and automatic doors.

•  The position of the reception counters and access control systems shall allow the users to immediately recognise the correct admission points for the Leisure Centre.  Users should generally be channelled such that they pass the reception desk.
