Sports Equipment26

 luminescent strips, signs, notices and warning signs are in place as required by Legislation, Guidance and Good Industry Practice and are, at times, intact, legible and (where necessary) illuminated;

 all Sports Equipment shall be sufficient for all Sports Activities and shall comply with Good Industry Practice and Energy Efficient Standards;

Swimming pools

 pool water is kept clean and free from debris;

 internal pool surfaces are free of dirt and debris;

 daily records of confirm water quality to be available for inspection by Authority [should this not be more than daily?];

 swimming pool walkways are clean and clear;

 pool is operated and maintained using environmental and energy efficient practices;

 notifications to indicate depths diving areas and other relevant information are all visible;

 swimming pools are operated and maintained to meet HSG: 179 CIBSE Guide G and Sports England's Standards;

 public viewing areas are controlled;

Spas and Saunas

 operated to standard environmental conditions specified by CIBSE Guide G and Sports England;

 seating , beds and other fixtures meet Good Industry Practice and are free from tears coring cracks or any other damage that is unsightly and/or could cause a health and safety hazard/risk;

Sunbeds

 provision and maintenance of sunbeds;

Sport Facilities

including:

 internal courts

 tracks

 bowls

 gym pits

 sport hall

 sun beds

 all weather turf

 shall function as intended, and shall be free from all but minor surface blemishes and wear and tear;

 used as per manufacturer's guidelines;

 areas are free from dirt, debris and any other item or matter recommended by the manufacturer and/or the Authority to be avoided in connection with such Equipment surface or material; and

 where fillings are required, e.g. sandpits etc, only appropriate material is used and to the prescribed levels.
