1  Definitions

Any terms and expressions used in this Part E of the Services Specification shall bear the same meaning as set out in clause 1 (Definitions and Interpretation) of this Agreement unless set out below or the context otherwise requires.

Ad Hoc Service Requests has the meaning given to it in the Payment Mechanism

Containment Time has the meaning given to it in the Payment Mechanism

Deep Cleaning means the periodic intensive cleaning of specified items which will (in the case of fabrics) include any dry cleaning and (in the case of flooring) stripping off all polish and repolishing in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions

Pest means rats, mice, cockroaches, ants, moles, pigeons, woodlice, flies, millipedes, wasps, bees, lice and mites, silverfish, ants, fleas and any other species of pest and/or vermin which may carry a risk to public health and/or nuisance value

Preventative Pest Control Service means the service and actions described in paragraph 4.4 of this Part E of the Services Specification

Reactive Cleaning means cleaning of the Facility or any Zone or any Plant or other Equipment as and when required and in particular where necessary to prevent an Event from becoming a Failure Event

Reactive Pest Control Service means the service and actions described in paragraph 4.5 of this Part E of the Services Specification

Reception Helpdesk has the meaning given to it in Part C of this Services Specification

Rectification Time has the meaning given to it in the Payment Mechanism

Routine Cleaning means the cleaning of the Facility (and Equipment [and Sports Equipment]) to the Routine Cleaning Standards set out in paragraph 2.4 and Table 1 of this Part E of the Services Specification

Staff shall have the meaning given to it in Part D of this Services Specification

Waste means waste which is generated from the normal use of the Facility which shall include but not be limited to kitchen waste, dead flowers, newspapers, office waste, cardboard and other packaging, paper towels, glass, plastic containers and aerosols38
