Reactive Cleaning Requirements

2.5  The Contractor shall undertake Reactive Cleaning as and when required in order to maintain the standards set out in paragraph 2.3 of this Part E of the Services Specification.

2.6  Where a spillage occurs the Contractor shall remove the spillage within [10 minutes] of notification to the Reception Helpdesk or (if earlier) when any member of Staff notices or reports the spillage, provided that where it is not practicable for the Contractor to remove the spillage within this time period, the Contractor may Contain the spillage (by erection of a barrier or closure of the Zone) and the spillage shall be removed within the Rectification Time.

2.7  The Contractor shall respond to following Ad Hoc Service Requests for cleaning in accordance with the times set out in the table below:39

2.8  Where any graffiti on any internal or external surface is reported to the Reception Helpdesk or, in any other way comes to the attention of the Contractor or any member of Staff then the Contractor shall within [15 minutes] of notification cover up the graffiti and such covering up shall constitute Containment.  If it is not possible to cover up the graffiti within the Containment Time or the graffiti is not (for any other reason) covered up in the Containment Time then the Rectification Time shall be [2 hours].  Where the graffiti has been covered up the Rectification Time shall be [4 days].
