5. Respond to Event (Containment & Rectification)
The Service Provider should respond to the Event within the appropriate Containment and Rectification Periods related to the Event. These are set out in the Payment Mechanism.
An Event may lead to failure to meet an Availability Requirement or a Performance Standard which is allocated a Containment and Rectification Period in a Zone Data Sheet
Some Performance Standards have no Containment or Rectification times.
Containment and Rectification Periods for other Performance Standards relating, for example, to Cleaning will be based on the individual Priority Level assigned to each Event.
