7  Repeated Rectification

7.1  Notwithstanding that the Contractor completes Rectification in respect of an Event within the relevant Rectification Time (Original Rectified Event) if a further Event (the Subsequent Event) arises from the same cause as the Original Rectified Event in the period of seventy two (72) hours following the Notification Time of the Original Rectified Event, then the Original Rectified Event shall been deemed not to have been Rectified and Deductions shall be made in relation to the Original Rectified Event from the Notification Time of the Original Rectified Event until the Subsequent Event is Rectified.  Provided that this paragraph 7.1 shall not apply if the Subsequent Event was not caused or contributed to by a failure by the Contractor to deal with the Original Rectified Event appropriately.

7.2  Any repeat Rectification as described in paragraph 7.1 shall be logged by the Helpdesk.
