Number, Type and Content of Bids
Each Bidder shall submit a Standard Bid in accordance with Paragraph •, and may, at its discretion, submit up to [insert number] Variant Bids in accordance with Paragraph •. Variant Bids will not be considered unless the Bidder also submits a compliant Standard Bid.
Each such Bid shall be submitted in separate volumes, with each page numbered consecutively. Each volume shall contain a 'contents' list for that volume which shall be bound immediately inside the cover. Any drawings included with a Bid shall be numbered and a drawing list shall be included as part of the contents list. Drawings shall not be larger than [insert size] and shall be folded and inserted into pockets with the appropriate volume.
Bidders must include, when submitting their Bids, all of the information requirements set out in Part 5 of these Instructions.
Where documents and drawings are common to the Standard Bid and the Variant Bid(s) they need to be produced only with the Standard Bid. In that event, appropriate cross-referencing should be contained in the Variant Bid(s) to the documents and drawings appearing in the Standard Bid.
Bids should be as concise as possible, whilst providing sufficient information to enable the Local Authority to evaluate Bids in accordance with this ISDS.
All Bids shall be submitted in English.
Any Bid submitted will be regarded as unconditional and capable of acceptance. The extent to which a Bid remains subject to further due diligence will be one of the criteria taken into account in evaluating the Bid. Bidders must therefore involve their own, and their funders', legal, technical and financial advisors prior to the submission of the Bids. The Local Authority reserves the right to decline to conduct any further competitive dialogue following the submission of Bids.
