Service Delivery Proposal - Maintenance
Bidders should state when they propose to finalise and provide a copy of the Operating & Maintenance Manual to the Authority and explain how they will ensure the Operating and Maintenance Manual is kept up to date.
Bidders should state what 'hands on' training and instruction will be provided to the New Contractor's employees if they are required to transfer the delivery of the Services to a New Contractor.
Bidders should provide a preliminary maintenance plan describing the inspection and maintenance regimes in terms of Programmed Maintenance, unprogrammed maintenance and continuing energy efficiency. The statement should also cross-refer to the engineering proposals regarding access for replacement and availability of spares and Bidders' life cycle strategies.
Bidders should demonstrate in the Proposal how the Contractor shall:
• maintain the facility to meet the Maintenance Services Standards set out in Appendix 2 of Part F of the Services Specification;
• provide reactive repair and maintenance services to ensure that all Faults (whether Emergency, Urgent or Routine) in the facility are Contained and Rectified within the Containment Time and Rectification Time set out in Appendix 4 of Part F of the Services Specification;
• produce and implement a Five Year Maintenance Plan and an annual Schedule of Programmed Maintenance in accordance with paragraph 6 of Part F of the Services Specification to minimise disruption to the facility and maintain, to ensure that the facility meets the Facilities Requirements and the Maintenance Services Standards; and
• produce and implement the fire safety systems and procedures required in paragraph 9 of Part F of the Services Specification.
