8.6  Registration96

The Contractor shall apply for, and procure, registration of the Head Lease at the Land Registry as soon as reasonably practicable after the Head Lease is completed.  The Authority shall use all reasonable endeavours to assist the Contractor in responding to any proper requisitions raised by the Land Registry of such documents that are in the Authority's possession relating to the freehold reversion as the Land Registry may request.

96  The Authority and the Contractor will need to ensure that provision has been made to pay any Stamp Duty Land Tax liability arising from entering into the agreement and the leases to ensure that the registration will not be delayed.  See Guidance Notes for further information.
